Katherin Murray
At the age of 7 years, Kathy picked up a set of coloured pencils and started to draw. At this time, her family were flooded in on a Central Queensland property for three weeks and this is where Kathy fell in love with the Australian landscape and birds. She has won various art awards from a young age. As a 90% self-taught artist, Kathy continues to have the passion and desire to broaden her artistic skills and abilities and gain a greater understanding of techniques and various art mediums.
Kathy is excited to be currently working on a variety of mixed-media projects after purchasing a supply of new products. This will broaden her style and concepts to incorporate Australian flora and fauna and the vast and varying beauty of our landscapes. Kathy is driven to capture the spirit of our nation, of the people and nature that makes Australia unique.
Kathy’s individual style has been recognised across Australia and internationally.
